Is there more to life than this? The Alpha Course and other courses we offer are an effective form of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ when done by and through the local church. By focusing on the essentials of the Christian faith, it opens the door for Alpha to be used in almost any context so that everyone has the opportunity to see their own and their friends’ lives transformed by the Gospel.

Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the world and everyone’s welcome. It runs online, in cafés, churches, universities, homes—you name it. No two Alpha’s look the same, but generally they have three key things in common: hospitality, a talk and good discussion.

Alpha is a tool built for local churches based on hospitality, sharing and open conversation. The same Alpha content is run all over the world, by Christians of all traditions, and provides a common expression of proclamation, service and witness. Millions of people have experienced Alpha in over 100 countries and over 100 languages around the world.
