Here at Alpha Gulf we love partnership and enjoy joining YFC UAE for the Big Weekend conference What a privilege to have around 300 young people gathered for this youth conference in Ajman. The theme of BW’24 was Pathways, living for eternity.
Our Alpha Youth team had so much fun meeting all the youth and youth leaders. It was very encouraging to learn how many youth groups from around the UAE had already done an Alpha course. We shared about AYS 3.0, with stickers and frisbees and asked youth to sign our giant football in response to the question, “What’s on your mind?” Alpha Youth Coordinator, Chris, did the first talk and shared on “Teach me Your Ways” from Psalm 25, showed a clip from AYS3.0 and ended with an invitation for all to follow Christ, explained with the FOUR.
Big Weekend is an amazing event, and we thank God for YFC UAE and all the volunteers who helped. Watch this space for BW’25!
